It isn't necessary to book online before you visit. However, if you are visiting as part of a large group or are interested in purchasing boat trip tickets for a number of people, we advise ringing ahead to check availability.
At the musuem we have a fantastic team of experienced and passionate volunteers who help us care for the site, deliver excellent visitor experience, lead guided tours, and even work with us to develop exhibitions. We are always recruiting new volunteers to join the team and invite you to find out more here, or by talking to a member of the team during your visit.
